Supply Drops?

I've been exploring in single player and noticed there has been no supply drops. The disable loot crates option is not on.

Been playing single as well... have lots of supply drops! I wonder if it can ... or has something to do with choosen difficulty of the game?

I have had none either, I forgot about it until now, and wondered what happened to them.

within 10 minutes of playing i had a supply drop land right next to south 1 spawn, since then i have never seen another

its a visual setting, im playing single player and lowered the visuals and one of the turned it off as i saw the beams prior to changing it.
just found it, if u have "global illumination quality on low u wont see them, change it to medium and they'll pop up

the crates are still there but if you have "global illumination quality" on low the beacons do not show up, you can still find them and the "breaking" of the shield in the heaven is visible as well if you are not too far away but that is way harder to see than the beacon lighting

Yes, I since learned about the global illumination. Also, turning clouds off helps to see the light beams. I do however believe there was a glitch because in previous games they were showing just fine.
