"Don't Flame Without Brain" .........yeah hard to take that seriously when you're fluffing this game as "Early Access". The crap the simplords let WildCard get away with is amazing.
Offtopic - Mimini.. what ever....
What's even more disheartening is the apparent disregard for the community by exclusively granting server rights to a profit-driven provider like Nitrado. It seems as if the developers are exploiting players solely for financial gain.
I hope that my experience can assist other players in their decision-making process. While not everyone may share this perspective, I personally grew up in communities where the focus was on collaboration and development, rather than collecting numerous Discord servers and funneling money into companies like Nitrado, Gameportal, or Zaphosting. Instead, I've learned to fully administrate and manage dedicated servers. This way, not only can you save money, but you also have complete control over the performance and configuration you're paying for.
I will definitely not continue to support the game and have already initiated a refund. If you're also dissatisfied with ARK: Survival Ascended, you can find instructions on how to request a refund here: https://help.steampowered.com/de/faqs/view/784C-923B-A4A1-C825

At the moment you cannot host a dedicated server on your own hardware. This is a deal breaker for me as well.
I wouldn't mind trying ASA out but no way in hell am I buying this until a dedicated server kit is released. I'm not paying Nitrado to do what I can easily do myself.
