Performance for a RTX 3070(M), AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, 16GB RAM for those interested
Graphics: Medium
Resolution: 1080p
DLSS: On
FPS: Fluctuating between 25-47 fps depends on the location.

Graphics still look good on medium settings since it's UE5.

I wouldn't say the optimization is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but it is close towards the bad end of the stick. It is playable to say the least but the screen tearing and frequent stutter will make it a bad experience.

This is just some extra info for those who had similar configuration as mine and wishes to know how well the game runs before getting it

16GB ram in 2023. SMH.
i have similar specs for my pc except a AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS seems about the same more in line with a consistent 30-50 fps, its not too bad id prefer the frame drops then dealing with og ARKS rubberbanding lol which i haven't experienced yet

This game is also extremely CPU heavy (single core, espically in singleplayer). Hosting a dedicated server on the same PC will give you much more FPS, since task splitting on CPU cores is way better (shouldn't be that way, because ASA singleplayer mode is badly optimized regarding CPU). But thats not a choice if you wanna play solo, since you only have 16 GB RAM (game alone eats more than 15 GB). 32GB is a must for newer games.
And your CPU is also not that great, would explain the stutter. My i5-10600k bottlenecks my desktop RTX 3070 in singleplayer in many scenarios and this leads to the screen tearing and espically stutter. On a server I get around 55-110 FPS with low-high settings (Lumen medium) depending on the area. With lumen on high, I play with ~60 FPS (some drops to 45-50). But no heavy stutters.

Whats your GPU usage? if it doesn't reach 95%+ consistently you can't do much with that CPU. Even a RAM upgrade won't do much, if some of your CPU cores and threads already hit close to 100%

Thanks for the technical explanation here, I've recently upgraded my RAM to 32 GB. I would say the performance improved slightly, around 5-7 fps improvement. Will definite try and play again by hosting a dedicated server and see how it fares.

My GPU usage is around 90%, well one can hope for more optimization in the future or till I upgrade my device..

I agree. My computer struggles with medium and crashes are common. On :
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
16,0 GB
64-bitars operativesystem, x64-based processor

Geforce RTX 3070

i9-13900KF RTX4090 32GB ram, and if I enable frame generation I crash. Without it I can get 25-60fps @1080p with it I can get up 2 120fps but it varies wildly. Seems that every update makes performance worse.

You can try it. But if you already reached 90%, it won't do much regarding FPS. Maybe a bit smoother because of better Frametime. Check your temps if you play longer. More cores and threads will be used when hosting a dedicated server on the same computer. This obviously leads to hot temperatures.
Regarding updates... I won't expect too much. Espically regarding singleplayer (they did not much for ASE singleplayer and in one of the recently released communitycrunchs they spoke of performance optimization.... for server. No word about client. So yeah, we will see what the next major patch will bring).

More information needed because that sounds very suspicious if you have a 4090 and a 13900k. Also sounds like it's not a new problem. Otherwise I would have said it's the new driver version. Lost 5-10 FPS with the newest version...
