Game instantly freezes

So the game goes into "Not Responding" as soon as I get to character creation. At first I thought it was the server being full. But then I tried to play just in single player. And the same thing happened. Game froze. Not responding. Dont even get to type in my name. Here is my specs

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8100 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3600 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB


Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060

anybody else have similar specs or facing similar problem?

Can anybody tell me if they think these specs should be enough? I have the game set to the lowest settings i can find.

Your CPU is a little bit below the minimum as far as I can tell but people with cutting edge PCs are struggling much of the time as well so its to be expected.

Same problem here, the second I get to the character creation screen it stops responding.

These specs are on reccomended on steam page, so yeah its enought.

Sorry I just dont know much about Specs and PCs. Like when a processor says I3 8100 and the minimum is I7 6800... like I3 is lower then I7.. but 8100 is higher then 6800. As your average idiot I have no idea which is better or how to determine if my card is good enough. Sorry

You two that are having similar problems.. What kind of CPUs do you guys have? One guy commented my CPU might be a bit low.. but another said it should meet the minimum. What is your CPU like?

Same thing was happening to my husband only on female selection. Once he was able to choose male it went thru

I made it in game and even walked around for a minute.... then it froze... not sure what that means.. maybe a good thing?
