I was able to get a consistent 40-50 but at the expense of a few graphical settings/command usage that I did not want to disable which made the game feel/look worse than the original game
The fidelity of this game is incredible! Graphics like this do not come for free unfortunately.
I guess 3070's fall under the potato category...
If you dont play this game on high/epic the lightning screws up and looks like you're high on mushrooms in the middle of the forest during the day with all the leaves flashing with lights.
My 3070 can hardly get 50-60 at low advanced preset with everything else on high which still screws up lighting because advanced setting is the big control factory they added for "performance fix" in the latest patch..
How about optimize shadows and shading? You turn the shadows off and bam 150+ fps. These shadows are running at like 12000x resolution by the feel of it with how big of a performance hit they have.
At least in other games you can change the shadow resolutions.
Also to put into perspective about GPU's.. 4070ti users are hardly able to run high preset at 1080p without dipping below 60.
So much for performance fixes over the weekend like they promised.
People that already have 4070-4090 rigs beg to differ on costs...
If we are to wait for the 50 series cards then why on earth did they release ASA in this state to begin with?
I am getting the follow average fps on different presets & resolutions:
Resolution 1920 x 1080
Resolution 3440 x 1440
I am personally waiting for Black Friday to buy a RTX 4070 or 7800 XT.
