Agreed, and i cant wait for the "Oh crap" nostalgia moments when you realize you were here in ASE but wow its so different.

Did you notice that the noob spawn point on the beach where they show you spawning in the original ASE trailer? The rocks are different. The water looks different. The sky is different looking. Not that we will get lost or anything, but it is going to look like a new map.

Most people were confused by the ruins, but it's just the southern part of Cragg's island, near to the red obelisk.

A key thing to remember is that Ark: Survival Ascended will include all its previously released DLCs and maps in its remade form and will have its own content roadmap. This will include new story content for the game, further gameplay/QOL changes, new DLC, seasonal events, and over time, we’ll be releasing 11 brand new creatures (More than any previous DLC expansions).

Yes, you can read this and more if you click on the link on the steam page that explains all about ASA being released as Early Access. Nice to see it all in writing there so that you know what you are paying for when you pay your $40 (in the U.S.).
