Steam Crossplay w/Console?

Is it? Anyone know? What, they gonna wipe the servers with the console release? Or will steam be seperate from console like original?

same question I'm trying to find an answer to. No one so far, has given a clear answer. I guess we wait for the Microsoft (xbox) launch. Most of my friends are Xbox players and Id like to play with them via my PC. Not buying the game twice just to play it now.

Yes and no, If you bought the game on steam you could not play on servers with xbox players. Only PC players that bought Ark on the Microsoft store or Xbox app for PC, could join crossplay enabled xbox servers.

Pretty sure I read that cross play is coming eventually to steam, but that all the console versions are delayed. They also said there will be no wipes when they do launch, but console players will be allowed 'accelerated progress' to catch up. They didn't really specify what that means though.

That is paraphrasing from my somewhat questionable memory though, so take it with a grain of salt.

What could they say that you could trust right now? I'm actually enjoying Ascended, but Wildcard is still Wildcard, can you believe any announcement or plan they make? I knew this was gonna be broken when i bought it, but i am not confident they won't raise the price when they fix it. In fact playing the odds i would say they are almost certain to raise it to $70 when they fix it.
