My thoughts exactly. While I'm very excited to scratch my dino itch once more with ASA, I'm really looking forward to Ark 2. I'm willing to support ASA if it means Ark 2 will be brought to fruition.

why? I own the game and all dlcs too... but why do i deserve it? 8 years no personal server costs... an absurd big amount of content.. no microtransactions like in other games... no shop items like other games...
so much for all the years without additional costs... so why exactly do i deserve this?
Sorry, but i disagree. That was a lot of work to make this remake and we get AGAIN free servers to play on for some years...

The way I view it is that they are re-releasing all maps, INCLUDING the DLC for $40. The discount is already there. They were releasing ARK SE a few years ago for $100+ for base game & all DLC... only needing to pay Half of that is killer. ESP since most other games are still in the $60-80 range. They've put a ton of effort into their work, and I would be more than happy to support a rework of SE, to fuel the efforts for 2

There are games and developers that offer a loyalty discount to the player who owns many games from the same developer, owns the original game, or owns the previous part.

I would buy the game if it was $1000
I don't actually care
But the loyalty discount is a nice thing that shows that the developer cares about old players

no? why should i? i played it some time and had a lot of fun for the money i spend. which is much less compared to other games and the content you get there.

I paid for what i got with the first version.
now i will pay for the 2nd version as everyone else.
i dont understand why i should pay less of the same effort they put into the game.
40$ is already a joke for years of free servers.. that much content... and everything else that comes.
