When did Front Mission IP got sold off?

Thought Square Enix owned the IP? o.O

square is front and center at the end of the trailer on the steam page so I do not think it got sold. I could be wrong though

Oh didnt see the Trailer. Just surprised that Square Enix isn't the Publisher so my first thought was the IP got sold off.

They made bad decision lately but they aren't that stupid.

They own it, however they sold much bigger franchises recently (Tomb Raider and Deus Ex) so I dare to say they are actually stupid enough to do that if they wanted to.

Pretty sure those 2 IP was their London HQ which they entirely sold off after many disappointing Sales and Loss especially the Renting of the Marvel Licenses for 2 Games which didnt get enough Profit to justify the cost.
