Current Bugs and issues I found so far

1. very very slow loading for year 2024 and compared to other Sim Racing games e.g. ACC or AMS2. nearly 3 Minutes to load to the Track is way to long!
2, in the car setup the volume gets up and ignores the set volume in the options
3. very slow in menu
4. all the car's are very "light" on the back in nearly every corner. Maybe a preset setup for each track, like ACC have it, would it make new gamers much more easy to come into the game!

Menus terribly slow, framerates unworkable, cannot calibrate controller properly, track loading as you say very slow. Appreciate this is Early Access but can't believe someone senior said 'good to go'. Refunded. Might revisit again once they have a product worth the time to download.

It appears to me that rfactor 2, failed to allocate a section of memory. memory currently in use: 6.00 gb

The long loading times is what made me refund so quick (20 mins) my performance was terrible but I wasn't waiting nearly 5 mins to load back onto a track if I needed to go back and change settings again.

I made it a few meters down Spa pit lane twice and wasn't waiting again (frames were still terrible at 1080p) Its the reason I never got into RF2 but I was exited for this game.

Most are saying its simply RF2 sold as a new game but less content.

Will try again in a few weeks/months but I don't think its worth the price tag currently. EA is no excuse for the problems the game is having. No way did they not know how bad it was but still decided to release the game. Sad thing is, this was going to be a full release title.

The menu stops responding. As a workaround you need to use Alt+TAB but this is happening very often.
Please do something and let the cars to start from pit stop in practice and qualy.
Virtual mirror is missing.
Volume settings for the interior needs to be improved. Please add separate settings for Wind, brake, gearbox, engine. tires sounds.
Overstear in 3rd and 4th gear on hyper cars is annoying.
Game randomly crashes with a black screen quite often.
I see the daily races and tried to do some practice but didn't managed to do so. I got kicked out every time.

The race length option is completely random... Last time I launched the game I had only 18 minute, 1.5h and 6h options but now I have more options but they end at 18 minutes??

Also may I add - I dont know what causes this but I frequently see the 911 Placeholder Cars with the LeMans Ultimate livery. Happens in Prototype and GTE

From what I saw on YouTube pressing 3 on the keyboard will bring up virtual mirror.

random session race times - sometimes its 1min, sometimes 12min. if i choose 12 min race, i get ingame and teh race will be 24 mins.

different classes can impact race session length too but will still result in 24min races.

is it me or is braking bugged or just super overpowered?

Can they please allow the game to start with antivirus software on a pc like most other games, I have to completely switch Kaspersky off to play the game

I had the same problem yesterday ; setting the virtual memory in Windows to "system managed size" fixed it (I had "none" before that)

Never had an issue performance wise, unless on my FFB on my G29. Reseted after a game crash and had to do all over again.

Also menus only were lagg when I tried an AI race. Even online everything worked perfect.

I just tried the sim again and it is still terrible with loading race sessions. Terribly long. Any update on this? My specs

WAIT!!!!

The new intel Arrow Lake cpu is rumoured to have 32Gb of RAM installed directly onto the cpu.

I don’t know how much of this is real or gossip, but if it’s true.
That will be a real game changer.

(Oh my bad, I just checked it’s the Lunar Lake CPU that’s rumoured to have 32GB LPDDR5x-8533 installed onto it directly.)

Just go to another track and then go back. Also in advanced options you can also pick any length up to the time of the race (so a 6 hour race you can type in a number between 1 and the 6 hours, though there may be a minimum, I cannot remember that part)
