Le Mans Ultimate wont start

I tried to start .exe with the administrator profil
no change
I tried to stopped antivirus Avast and start
no change
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling it, repairating file steam process and even changing storage location

This game won't launching

It's really frustrating for the moment.

I had to do 2 things to get the game to work, 1st install the game on a hdd. I can not get the game to start if i install it on any ssd. 2nd i had to go into kaspersky and add the game as an exclusion and add the game exe as a trusted application. Give these a try.

Ok, but you can't go to all this effort for a game that comes out in 2024.
Developers know very well what antiviruses are. Haven't they tested it?
I repeat what I wrote before: the RFactor 2 exe works, why doesn't this one?

Oh im not defending the devs over this, this is unacceptable, they should have got the exe signed off by antivirus engines before releasing it. We shouldn't have to go jump through these hoops to get the game to work.

My game is outright crashing my computer completely. RTX3070, Ryzen 3800x. No anti-virus in use.

This problem seems to be solved with this path:
-check the files via steam
-launch the game.
For me, for two consecutive times after this journey, it started.
Without verifying the game files the game will not start.
After verification, yes.

I always get an alarm when someone tells me to switch off my kaspersky. I trust my Kaspersky much more than 397 Studio. Refund is a better solution in my opinion

Kaspersky thanks you for your business...

Kaspersky has been protecting me from viruses and cyber attacks for 10 years. I thank them for that and am happy to pay them. But I don't pay for games that require me to switch off virus protection. After a few months at the latest, when everyone has understood that LMU will be nothing more than another buggy game like rFactor 2, most players will forget about it. Taking a risk on something that's already dead before it's released is really stupid

Dosent work! I disabled it and dosent work! Still same issue

If u r using Kasperspy, you must to stop it.
After that check the integrity one more time, and the game works

I struggled with this game... It wouldn't open at all!
I have Karspesky as my antivirus and, before uninstalling and requesting a refund from Steam, I tried everything you are saying and nothing worked...
I'm going to wait for the "Le Mans" developers to resolve these errors and inconsistencies before buying the game again, even if it's more expensive!

It happens to me, without disabling Kaspersky, to check the integrity of the files and the game starts.
When I close the game and try again without checking the files, it doesn't start anymore.
Kaspersky isn't even the problem, then.
