And prevents people to wasting their money in vain.
edit: downloading the game right now
Well let me know what you think of it.
Also didn't change a single graphic setting at all.
They should have reassured you instead of silencing you.
Perhaps you burst someones bubble.
It is also possible that they are sick of answering that question. It has been a concern of mine and others that i know.
100% this. The fact that they're hiding that Motorsport Games still owns Studio 397 (store page only lists S397 as Dev and Publisher, only mention of MSGM is in the EULA under privacy) is sus.
That said... game is showing 4,615 in-game concurrently, that's nearing 3x the rF2 all-time peak... just confirmation they should had ditched rF2 long ago and moved on.
I really hope things improve with patches and future updates, it looks great it just needs more work.
Hopefully it performs well enough to keep S397 in business, I really get the feeling they are under pressure from Motorsport Games to deliver.
It is doing much better then i thought it would. Almost 4k players is REALLY good.
I am interested in this, even still i thought it would be a niche within a niche and just looked over and forgotten.
Glad i was wrong.
The sounds in the game are amazing and can't wait to try it out once we get the VR update
I don't think the comment above should have been met with a Ban but to be fair what does a comment like that add except to instigate?
It wasn't to instigate as such, it was more of a "if I buy this game will it still be in development if the publisher goes bust"
Motorsport games has had a extension to the stock market de-listing, my feels are if this doesn't do well from the start it may not be supported for very long.
Nothing against S397, I very much want another great sim racing title and hope it does develop in to a great game.
But if MSG was to fail, S397 need a new buyer/investor to keep them (and LMU) alive as I don't think they could buy out their debts from MSG to stay running.
Yes, MSG is on brink of bankruptcy, and brink of being delisted from NASDAQ (not enough shares held by the public)... so it's not just sales from LMU, but they'll likely need to bring in few new investors to keep the lights on.
I'd focus on the devs, not the horrific spivs in the background. If MSG gets the chop, S397 will live on.
