I´m playing ACC with a controller just fine.
I hoped I could do the same here.
Sad.
Yes! The way controllers work in Le Mans Ultimate has been reworked compared to past Studio 397 titles with the aim of making the game as accessible as possible and also bringing vibration support.

Works well, but no controller to navigate in the menu for now, you have to use mouse/kb). Still trying to figure out all settings and their meaning (not sure what center, max left and max right mean, when pressing them not much seem to happen), even though it is a bit "light" on the calibration side.
There is no linearity settings for instance, but it feels as if there is something changing the wheel rate based on speed. I could not find yet if we can change that.
But on the positive side, there is opposite lock assist in the general gameplay tab, which helps to have a pseudo-FFB behavior for controller (i.e. it will counter steer a bit by itself in certain situation just as you would feel on a wheel and smooth out janky movement).
More testing later...
Do you have RF2?
And if so, is driving with the controller similar or are there significant changes?
