Question about race planning

Can I plan a race based on laps rather than hours? How so?

With fuel you need to do the math. Your lap time divided by the race length add some extra to be safe. Tires will depend on how you're driving.

That's how I do it but you can get fuel calculators. A kind person might link one to you.

I mean the game interface. Will the game give me the option to plan based on laps or just hours? Yes or no?

No you can't set the practice/quali/race length by the laps.
Just with time.

I hope with next updates they add this feature and also let us to set how many ai cars we want .

If you go to Event Settings -> Session, you can set the race/practice/quali sessions to be less than an hour.

What a shame! I dont always want to race for over an hour

As the post above said, don't use the slider, go into Advanced and down in the race session you can type in specific minutes, so you want to do 20 mins, just type 20. I think there is a low limit, possibly, I cannot remember now, like maybe you cannot do 12 mins, maybe 18, something, I just can't remember, sorry!
