I personally bought the season pass and Racecontrol Pro, not that i have been able to race much lately but i'm willing to put my money in as this is a great game.
Likewise for me. No-one is forcing anyone to do more than buy the base game.
It also has everything you need and is a blueprint for other racing games.
They should all model themselves on this one.
Their content is all totally unnecessary, nobody needs anything like that.
This game is the best ever!
For me, yes it is. But we're never all going to agree on that, so we just post our opinions.
Exactly, do they want us to lie so they can feel better? lol
Interesting, who is ‘us’ and ‘them’ in this context?
And it may not be lying, but telling only half the truth isn't that great either.
You can do an online race now and again without DLC, but you'll probably reach a limit pretty quickly.
Propaganda 101 :
- us : anyone who I agree with on the moment, to give more weight to my opinion and reduce yours.
- them : everyone else, to make you feel not welcomed and excluded from the discussion/community.
On the topic though, multi-player is not locked behind paywall entirely, but without DLC or subscription you limit your access to basically a few select events. No championship, sometime no daily, sometime no weekly, some special events and of course you can't host anything.
Meanwhile in AMS2 you can for example host yourself a server, free of any charge for as long as you want using your owned content and any player with the base game can join (regardless of DLC ownership). This is an extreme case at the other end of the spectrum, but there must be a place in between, right ?
I was replying to Aysedasi so him and me is "us" so that leaves the others as "them", quite simple really but you guys love to twist stuff we say to make you feel better.
I have never said the game is fully working with no bugs or broken bits i just give my side of it and 95% of the time i have a great time, yes i too do get problems too but i don't go crying about it (mostly lol) i actually see if i can get it working.
It is quite clear some just want to bash and twist s**t which is not really helpful is it.
With respect, you clearly haven't played LMU much recently as, particularly with the advent of the championships, this simply isn't correct.
Just NOT correct. This is what happens when those who want to give the impression that they know what they're talking about have made little or no effort to play the sim for weeks or months and are desperate to be able to continue to argue a case which has markedly changed. A few days ago you posted on here that someone shouldn't listen to me. That's fine, I'm perfectly aware of your agenda (we all are - that's 'us', by the way) but hopefully those who drop in here casually for information about LMU pay zero attention to the inaccurate comments you make.
