far better than Automobilista 2
This game is so good and far better than Automobilista 2. loved every moment I played, only thing is I refunded since I am sceptical about EA titles and the situation with Motorsport games.

I hope this game can become a success coming out of EA and becomes success level of ACC and AC.

I drive both.
Each has their own qualities that the other seems to lack.

Whats there to explain? AMS2 has far more content, looks great, sounds great and is much easier to get online racing going in different disciplines with great audio and great handling.
LMU sounds great, drives awesome, looks seriously good but is running only WEC so content wise its gonna be limited.

Feeling like taking a v8 supercar around bathurst? AMS2 delivers.
Wanna race a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around a silly circuit in brazil that nobody knows about? AMS2 again.
Want an authentic WEC multiclass experience? Only LMU can deliver that.

Its pretty simple if you think of AMS2 as a jack of all trades and master of none. LMU, ACC are focusing on certain disciplines so it makes sense that they shine in those.

I also drive both plus ACC and AC. Every sim has their strong sides and something that is lacking.

wait AMS2 looks really bad whenever I change the settings the game keeps resetting and always has to run on poor graphics. Any idea why this bug is there? I have folder control access turned off on my PC.

Have you tried setting the AMS2.exe file to run as admin?
not sure why you target ams2 but yes the game is very good.
100x better than ACC, ams2 and i also think it feels better to drives than ac1. bright future ahead this one.

(AMS2) but it lacks the physics of a proper sim. feels like a console game. without good tire model ams2 is pointless. dont matter how it looks and sounds if it drives like sh#t

Comparisson is the thief of joy.

Both has their pros and cons. Enjoy it whatever you find better for you.

Do think the driving feel and physics are much better but think AMS2 is actually not that bad after 1.6. Haven't tried that many cars or put many hours in bit what I tried felt good for the most part. Did think some older cars felt similar and more work was put into the new content but there is something for everyone in that game really. Sure it will only get better as time goes on.

Have limited time in rig so will always boot up LMU currently but once career comes to AMS2 I can see myself playing it more. Don't think AMS2 looks very natural but wouldn't say it looks bad either, in some settings it can look amazing but I have never found the car models (when following) look good and the colours and lighting are a bit unnatural imo, performance is great and for VR its unbeatable from what I have read.

LMU future is still uncertain but what they have done in a short time and given the situation is really good imo. Over 850 people have signed up to one championship that requires a subscription so there is money to be made and a dedicated player base. More content is due soon and driver swaps, should bring in more players for endurance events and possibly more subscriptions.
The championships have added a very welcome additional dimension. As you say, over 870 (now) signed up for the 'base' shorter race championship with another 1450 for the other three championships (albeit that there will be plenty who have signed up for more than one of the four). I did the 100 minute Le Mans championship race yesterday and it was really enjoyable - and because that championship is at the 'advanced' level, the quality of the field and the standard of the driving (aside from one 'entitled' LMP2 driver) was very good.

Been really enjoying them and like you say, the quality of racing has been great from my pov. Would imagine once driver swaps come we will get ones with driver swaps included so could bring in many more players/subscriptions. Really think this game has huge potential, its just a shame its currently owned my MSG. Hopefully it will all work out in end.
Just different...
Had to buy the two ! :)
