Time scale question
First thing first, i am not trolling. Maybe i'm stupid (probably) but i do not understand how "Time Scale" function works. x2 increases length or doubles the time speed ? Can someone explain to me what settings i should use to race 24Hrs race in 12 real hours ? I genuinely do not understand how this setting works, especially since it can be set backwads (to like x0.5) too. Thanks in advance.

No problem! Not quite. So, if you did a race length of 24 hours with a x0.5 time scale, you'd be racing a full 24 hours in real life, but only 12 hours would pass in the race world.

Maybe try thinking of it this way:

Step 1: Decide however long you want to race in real-life time. That will be your Race Length. No matter what Time Scale you use, the Race Length will always be how much time you ACTUALLY spend in racing in real life time. (ex: If you want to only spend 3 hours racing, set your Race Length to 3 hours. If you only want to spend an hour racing, set the Race Length to 1 hour.)

Step 2: Decide how much time you want to pass in the game world. The Time Scale is just the modifier that will make this happen for you. So, if we follow the example above where you just want to race for 3 hours, your Race Length will already be set to 3 hours. But if you want to see 12 hours pass inside the game while you're racing, your Time Scale will be x4. (3x4=12)

You can think of it like a multiplication equation. Race Length x Time Scale = How much time passes in-game. But Race Length always equals how much time you actually spend racing in real life time.

Hope that helps.

x2 would double the amount of in-game time that passes. So, if you wanted to do a full 24 hour day/night cycle with a race in 12 real life hours, you'd set your race length to 12 hours, then the time scale to x2. This would make the in-game time cycle move at twice the speed, thereby making 12 real life hours seem like 24 in-game.

So...
Race Length = Amount of real life time that passes.
Time Scale = How much faster or slower time passes during the race.

Many thanks. I wish it was explained in the game like this. Once again, bless you and have a good day!
