No rejoin feature for online races?

So I just had something quite annoying right now. In Quali (with like 5 min left) the game decided to go to sh... I thought that I just restart the game and rejoin the event I am registered for. Yeah... no.

Why do you have no rejoin feature? If a race is already running I do not care, but now I cannot even rejoin in quali-session. Even if I would end up dead last in Quali, I dont care... but DR and SR will be impacted on not showing up... holy f...k.

Not implementing a BASIC feature... Jesus.

Just had this same thing happen. It's so frustrating when its going to take like 5 minutes until the race starts and there's just no way to get back in
