graphics issues
hi all im running an AMD Ryzen 9 3900xt 12-core processor and an AMD Radeon RX5700 XT on a valve index (i only race in vr) love the handling of the cars and the ffb.

Soooo basically i can get good framerates and everything runs fine but the issue is that the barriers look as if theyre being drawn as im driving and everything in the distance is very hazy.
ive fiddled for hours and some threads say put MSAA on and some say off so im a bit lost, it looks worse now than when i started

if anyone has some settings that might help me with this id really appreciate it

I tried to fix things using the .json files a year ago, not much could be done and all you would get was worse performance for not much gain. Not sure how it is today, I stopped messing around with the game. But yeah at high speed you will just see annoying LOD pop-in and shadow drawing (folks call this game somehow the best immersion wise, huh ok?). Also, don't look at aero elements from cars in front of you, this will just feel embarassing when you see winglets or parts from the diffuser pop-in and out of existence at about 10m distance (especially on the 499P). If you read that I probably ruined your experience forever, once you see it you can't unsee it anymore.
I have the same problem, most noticeable on Monza there the track is a slideshow.

Has made the game un-playable.
I would go on the discord and mention it but I don't think that would be a good idea due to the number of protective fans out there.

Shame the game has fallen like this, had no issues with it running back when it was first released.

In VR, post processing has to be low and MSAA x8 is a heavy hitter so X2 or 4.

Everything else your going to have try and test what's best for you and your system.

Understandable. I'm getting issues when not using VR too.
