Bring the GTE back online!
I (and as it turns out, I'm not the only one) like the GTE better than the GT3. Bring them back to daily events, or better yet, make mixed GTE/GT3 events.

GTE are much better. They are the pro GT cars, GT3 was designed originally for drivers less serious. GTE always requires more skill.

Funny though I am rubbish with GT3.

Yes, I hope they don't ignore GTEs. I also prefer. them to GT3

The Downforce is fantastic in The GTE's...and I very much enjoy them...but if I'm honest...The GT3's are a bigger challenge and make me a better{hopefully] driver...I still Totally Suck at them though LOL

You can also create a server and just make it public, looks to be super cheap, I think someone said it is like 0.60 USD per hour or something like that. That can help on weeks when GTE's are not on. I am fairly positive the next few weeks will be all GT3 just because it will attract a lot more people registering.

0,38 € per hour?

+ 19% tax = 0,45
* 24 hours = 10,80 per day
* 30 days = 324 €

really? :angrypoop:

P.S. We should do this, though if I did it I would need to set up for late night east coast US. I was just looking at the pricing. You can host a 20 person prac/qualy/race or however you want it, for 2 hours for 0.65 USD. Or you could just make it available for 20 hours for 6.50. I wonder if it could be set up to run 20 min races starting every 30 mins, like just keep rolling. That gives about 8 min break between races if you just make it so no prac/qual is needed. It is pretty dang cheap. You do need to buy 500 credits at a time, which is the 6.50 USD

Yeah, but would you really be wanting to run one for 24 hours a day all month that you are paying for? Not many are going to do that. You just make it a chunk of time on a certain day. Most will use for a league and use it in that manner, like server will be available monday nights starting at 7PM, qual starts at 9, race at 9:30 and runs an hour or whatever the league happens to be.

Yes, what bothered me was the ‘super cheap’.
Shoestring Dec 12, 2024 @ 10:21am
Gotcha, it does seem super cheap to me but I have never hosted a server or anything. When they talked about it originally, in my mind I was thinking hosting a race for a few hours would cost like 5-10 bucks or something. Not sure why I thought that, just bad assumptions on my part. I just bought 500 credits, so if anyone wants to run something late night east coast US time, let me know!
