View Stats:
VR in LMU is impressive.
Hardware for reference;

7900x3d
7900xtx
32Gb Ram
Quest 3, max resolution, 120hz, fov adjusted H0.8/V0.6

In-game settings;

I've managed to get to the point with, low post processing , 4x MSAAA, high textures, optimal shadows , high soft particles, medium rain and reflections. Rear view set to 175M distance. Recording set to 0.

Test location and conditions;

GT3 only grid, 18 cars, Spa, at night in heavy rain,

Results;

It's taken many hours of testing and adjusting. The game looks so good, the water spray, cars, sharpeners of the images. It runs a smooth 120fps, my frame times stay around 7.5ms for CPU and GPU. I am still tweaking some settings to get it as best as possible, hopefully I can find a way to turn on high reflections as it looks incredible in heavy rain at night but it absolutely tanks the frame time to where I get 60fps

My advice;

After doing your VR headset settings, and ingame file settings, save your current settings so you have a base as a backup,

I was struggling to get to 120fps from 90fps, untill I turned the default down very low, then I tuned the settings individually up. It feels like there is more settings that are being changed in-game files by the default settings, some of which must really tank.

For sure. Crazy how good AMS2 is in VR since its based on the old gaming engine used for Project Cars 2. Just wish it was DX12 so we could use DLSS in VR
runs like ♥♥♥♥ compared to AMS2 and AC. They should work on an exclusive oculus / meta mode. RaceRoom also runs like ♥♥♥♥ because of Steam VR.

Actually looks better in my opinion, given the fact that i can run LMU at a higher res on my Varjo.
