Huge Issues With Full Course Yellow

Yesterday during intermediate Imola race, a huge pile up happened in turn 1 and for the first time in 30 races I had a Full Course Yellow happen. But the only indicator was a "full course yellow active" text on the right side. No indicators, no guidelines (like the ones during rolling start) or speed limit warning whatsoever.

So half the grid kept driving like nothing happened, while the other half slowed down and activated pit limiter and drove in single line. I was third place and decided to slow down and fell back down to last place. People were going crazy in chat telling people to slow down and go single file without overtaking but no luck.

Funnier still is there are no penalties for overtaking, even the safety car. About 5 minutes in, I, along with several other cars pulled to pit lane and waited for the race to end. 40 minutes of life wasted and the race ended like normal. Lost 10% driver rating and gained some safety rating.

I don't even know if those who raced like there wasn't FCY got any penalties or warnings but really didn't seem like it. This is ruining races and I am absolutely baffled how the developers added this in the game without proper implementation. I can add the recording of the race if needed but I do not think anyone would want to watch 40 minutes of that ridiculousness.

It says "requested thread could not be found."

People say it's a leftover, old code from rFactor 2 days. If so, devs should immediately remove it and take action because otherwise if will ruin a lot of races.

This might be an isolated issue only happening in Imola because it's a weird coincidence this thread from a month ago also mentions an Imola race. Maybe devs added the code exclusively in Imola for internal testing and somehow forgot to remove it?

My apologies. After I posted the mods on the forum combined two threads and deleted the one I linked leaving the one you found. You may well be right.

No worries. My only concern is this issue happening again. I have my suspicions this only happens on Imola still, so will try today and report back here. Knock on wood it doesn't happen again.

It's good that devs are aware of the issue. Hopefully it will be sorted out quick.
