ranking up in online

is it me or do you not rank up at all ive stayed on BR3 For ages now and ive hit podiums most of the time and still at the ranking how does the ranking system work

I've played for over 400 hours and 260 online races. I started (as we all do - unless you bring a rating from rF2) at B3, went down to B2 within a week and have been at B3 ever since, hovering between about 25% and 50% of B3. I have long resigned myself to that fact that I won't be seeing S1 any time soon. ;-) The ranking system is complex and is based upon your actual performance as set against your expected performance in comparison to those taking part in the event. IMO it is far too heavily weighted in favour of qualifying and finishing in the top half of your lobby. It feels very stagnant, probably because it is so easy to achieve a P ranking for SR.
