it's not just the crash, last race I had the pre-race UI menu stuck on my screen during the race , amazing !
The last race today where the game stopped was with the GTEs in Bahrain at 18:30. Yesterday instead with the P2s at SPA
Crashes only occur when I'm in the menu.
could you guys please answer these questions ?
_ Do you have a second or triple monitor ?
_ Do you use a overlay (like simhub) and/or a program like Crewchief or DRE ?

One of their tips is to lower the quality of the terrain, etc. to the lowest setting to avoid crash while you are in the menu , but i dont wan't to do that and have my game looks really bad.
I think I've found a temporary solution for the consumer, but it's very annoying , BEWARE IT CAN BE A PLACEBO : Try to stay less than 30seconds in the menu.
_ During qualifying, be sure to start your last lap just before the end of the timer to minimize the time spent in the menu.
_ If you have to wait for drivers who have not finished qualifying yet, run the live replay mode on them.
_ Also, just to be safe during qualifying, I restart my game around 3 minutes of remaining time. I don't qualify for reasons of being better, so it's not a problem that my last lap is a pit stop lap. (If you'd like me to explain that, I can, but that's another subject, so I won't go into it now).
_ The minute of preparation before the race, select your strategy and go straight to the track. don't waste time on the menu.
very important, in the menu during the minute of preparation don't write in the chat or you have a great chance of having the menu UI stuck on your screen during the race, which is impossible to drive, so you have to use ALT + f4.
If you want to say Good luck or something, do it when you are in track
For the dev i thought of a temporary solution. I don't know if it's technically possible and cost-effective to invest in it or correct the problem directly at source, but if possible it would be to :
_ add an temporary option that can be checked by the player so that he doesn't have a background of the circuit during the menus or whatever. An LMU logo, or a black screen with the UI menu, is fine with me if the game doesn't crash. I could enjoy your game, which is incredible and fun once you're racing, but very frustrating during menus and loading.
The menus and crashes are what drag this game down, not the gameplay.
My game runs extremely well on a relatively modest set-up. I run Crewchief only. I only use one monitor, I've never seen the need for more than one.
