This really is a total and utter joke, you again spend about an hour waiting around and your race is over before it starts as they you are also driven into by 5 effing people. Damage in a race lasting 20 minutes I mean what really is the sodding point, more points lost, meaning MORE SODDING time in this crap garbage class.
Honestly there are aspect of this game that are utterly shameful and again I reiterate, STOP arsing about trying to get money out of people the game is flawed in many ways beyond any normal levels of development.
Yes you don't really get anywhere in qualifying but the awful start procedure is ignored, had another earlier bloke in front on and off brakes, could not avoid it, another sodding penalty it really is a garbage setup utterly not fit for purpose as it stands.
Edit -This does not account for bad driving in Online, though. If guy in front is too slow or too fast or slams brakes like you said, stuff can happen but that happens in life as well. Online you really have to pay attention to the colors and just try to keep the screen free of them, which means you are good. For the post a couple above, being behind your grid position is just as bad as being in front, as far as a penalty is concerned.
As far as the sim is concerned, definitely so.... in 'moral' terms, rather less so when you're the last car on the grid..... ;-)
