;)
still in early access.
Usually you release a game in early access when developping a new game engine with brand new assets and functionalities, not when you make a spin off that rehashes content from a 10 year old game while stripping out functionalities ;)
It is just a smokescreen to hide behind when anyone point technical issue : "but but it is early access !". Yeah sure... Marketing worked well based on some comments here. If you wish I do have this invisible cloacking device I can sell you, it is early access so it might not work, do you want it ?
Why is it you don't understand that people are totally bored of the same stuff over and over, regardless of it being a full release or early release?
Sorry, but being an early release is not an excuse for the lack luster choices in content use.
There are many opportunities to use what is already there and have it not feel the same all the time day in and day out no matter what week it is.
This is fairly limited and not a very inspiring choice when it would not take much to do it better.
