Yeah, I did it anyway. All works flawlessly. Crew Chief tells you where to go and what to do when you select LMU in the drop-down.

To anyone who hasn't installed Crew Chief yet, then just do it. It's absolutely amazing. Windows will flag it up as a problem app, but just ignore all that.

Oh man, too bad I am not at home rn in my simrig to test this out.

Does it has a spotter? What the Crew Chief actually tells you? Just fastest laps? Or anything useful?

No way am I uninstalling my crew chief that I use on every other sim for a beta version for this early access game that barely works. lol I can wait for crew chief.

This is Crew Chief. Almost essential for the level of data it gives you. Engineer Jim (the male English voice covering spotting too in this clip), pairs best with Spotter Clare, the female English voice (IMO):

It adds functionality for LMU and still works for all previously supported titles.

First of all:
Can you open the app?
Have you hit the big 'Start Crew Chief' button top-left?
Have you selected 'Le Mans Ultimate' from the selection menu?

If yes to all that, click on the 'Properties' button top-right and check that the Le Mans Ultimate install path is correct (right side column, second field down).

When I loaded the Beta, CC asked me a simple 'click OK' option to set everything up, so you shouldn't have to do anything major to get it to work.

Bro I know what crew chief does, but since you don't have a spotter in-game, doesn't work at all.

Edit: Spotter Ross works fine. And tells you if you have a car or not, and says when it's clear. Works great, at least offline.

Been finding the most useful thing about CC in LMU is the heads up about faster cars approaching and slower cars ahead. That and knowing if it's the class leader or if I should expect more.

The spotter isn't quite working right as she'll say it's clear when it's not...I can still see the car there. I'm sure they'll sort it though.
