What's with all these negative reviews on Steam, are you serious? The game was released as "early access"! You should all be ashamed of yourselves for rating this new simulation negatively after only a few hours, if at all! You can rate negatively when features and promises are not kept, but when you read through some of the negative reviews you just have to smile. Like when you take something away from children and then they stand in a corner and scream! We should and must be grateful that there are still developers today who offer us new simracing content and develop it. Think about it! Or do you want to play REAL RACING on your smartphone in the future?

Think about whether it's really necessary to rate a new simulation negatively on day 1!

People have a lot of hate for the studio involved, its just toxic commenters jumping on the band wagon because they're upset that iRacing didnt get the license.

Even worse are the cringey VR crowd, they should just go play current VR games, suck it up and wait.

There is no neutral judgement possible, you have to choose between Yes or No, No is the best choice at the moment, not because the game is not finished but mainly because there is quite a bit wrong in the basics. think of the FFB which is especially bad at low speeds, and the lack of good tire sound which makes driving in the game not a pleasant experience, and doesn't look anything like Real Racing at the moment ,for me.
(and don't forget, if the dev's really want to give us a good game, a No can always become a Yes)

Its a software bug - coded incorrectly so as not to free allocations properly, or even freeing allocations before they've been allocated! In essence, the problem lies in a software bug. So we contact the developers, they fixed their code and the problem is fixed.

I fully agree, it has now become fashionable to complain about everything, when in reality we should only be grateful to this development team if we consider what level of simulator they are offering us for €30!

Early Access does not excuse a game that is in a alpha stage at best. This is why I wrote a negative review. It needed a few more months in developement before being ready for any public release, but then MSG would have run out of money.

I hope it´s not Rfactor2 2.0... Unfinished, rushed, takes the next 10 years for developing simpliest things and stays unfinished forever... The best driving physics are not all, because other titles come very, very close, but without the steady alpha/beta stage, crashes, years-old bugs and unfinshed, half polished features.
I wish the studio the best, but again, it´s high time to begin to deliver, otherwise they will go down. Iracing is a very hard competitor and AC 2 is coming this year.
What I have seen so far, I think, I will wait for VR support and the upcoming development- pace... Nothing ground braking in it..at least for me..

No. Get it right. People have a lot of hate for the PUBLISHER involved, Motorsport Games.

Studio 397 is a great developer who had the misfortune to fall under the ownership of those shady spivs.

I can only give my opinion on games as I see them. For me performance was terrible even at 1080p medium settings. I am not going to wait a few mins to load back onto a track every time I need to change graphics settings.

There are so many issues with the game and EA doesn't excuse those issues at all. Everyone expects issues but there are some serious issues with the game currently. Just look at the known issues with the game, its not a small list.

Now lets say everyone who doesn't like the game doesn't review the game. The devs get great reviews on steam and sales go up from that. Now where is the incentive to actually fix most of these issues?

RF2 is still a really bad experience and its a full release game. Do you really see most of the problems with the game actually getting fixed anytime soon? I hope they will but I certainly wouldn't recommend the game to someone in its current state.

If I try it again in a few weeks/months, and the game is working somewhat, I will change my review to reflect that. Many youtubers have said they wont be playing the game in its current state. Everyone has a right to a opinion, people recommending the game are no better as the game is barely ready for EA.
