Does the in game ABS setting prevent lockups?
I have the LMDh cars in AMS2 and I lock up every single corner just about to some degree with those things, even with the in game ABS assist turned up as high as it'll go. I basically have to run with no tire wear enabled to actually be able to drive the things otherwise my tires would be dead after a lap. Does the ABS assist eliminate them completely in this game?

Personally, I think brakes and TC need some work (assuming you're talking LMU). Cars lock up far too easily and TC doesn't really work. I've noticed little to no difference between TC off and TC 8 on GTE's. Braking feels weird as there's no real indication that i've applied enough pressure until the wheels lock. Then it's multiple laps with big flat spots.

I have been raving all Hyper cars, and haven’t had a lock up yet either ABS.

You would think so but it's not the case in AMS2 which is my only experience driving the hypercars so that's why I asked. I know it's a different game but since I've never played RF2 which this game is based on, I didn't know if it was a similar thing here or not.

Go with low on the assist, not high, so that it will still allow locks if you abuse the brakes, which is a good way to progressively learn good braking habits.

I'm on controller too so it makes it a lot harder to brake correctly. I've gotten better at it from learning in AMS2 and it's subsequently helped my trail braking in ACC but I still can't drive the AMS2 LMDh's without locking up constantly. I've tried lower brake pressure, higher pressure, and nothing has helped. Maybe it'll be different in this game.

Try adjusting brake pressure/force in the setup menu.

It does for me.
I set it to around 70-80% for most cars, it´s much better.
But I don't use any driving aids from the game, does the ABS only work if you set it in the driving aids?
I am confused.

Do you mean the sensitivity to 70-80%?

No, the braking force in the car setup menu.
