Cannot get Fanatec DD steering to align with in-game
I've tried every setting I can think of and I just cannot get the steering to work right with my Fanatec DD. The default Auto settings make the wheel insanely sensitive. I tried manually setting the driver and in-game to 720, which seemed to work for the Ferrari Hyper-car, but everything else had the steering not in sync between the game and my wheel.

With some settings, once I turn the wheel around 180 degrees, the wheel ingame suddenly spins around to maximum. What is happening there?

iRacing and ACC just work when you calibrate it. This feels like it doesn't care what your settings are, it just does something different.

It's EA, this is a common issue with no definitive solution yet, just remove the cockpit wheel animation until its been addressed properly and enjoy the game, I can't understand why you'd want to see a 2nd steering wheel and arms copying your own on the screen anyway.

This feature is a privilege that most games don't give you.

on the steering wheel set (fanatec menu)
SEN: auto

In the game -
Steering settings:
Steering Wheel Range: 1080
Use steering wheel range from vehocle: ON
Steering wheel maximum rotation: 900
Use Steering wheel maximum rotation from Driver: ON

My steering wheel turns the same as in the game in all vehicles

Personally, I align the wheel with what I see on screen. So, turn the wheel to 45 degrees then adjust Sensitivity on the wheel/base until both physical and graphical wheels align. In my case it was 1080. Use steering wheel range from vehicle: ON in the game menu.

Thank you! This worked for me! I had assumed when you selected ON for those settings, it ignored the wheel range and was just trying to auto everything.

An update to this. It worked for a couple cars, and then I went to the Porsche GTE and found that the in game wheel was moving at 50% of my actual wheel. Turns out during one of my setting resets in game, it turned on Steering Assistance. As soon as I turned this off, the steering lined up one-to-one. Very annoying, but now every car is good!

Turns out this was the issue. First time I looked, this was off. Helped once I spotted it. Thanks!

The game looks beautiful, but for some reason my fanatec csl dd is not working in any car class. I tried calibrating the settings, I went to drive pressed the shifter to go in first gear and the car just shuts off it won't move. What the heck is going on

Use the clutch when you start moving. Or use auto-clutch.
