Can't start Hypercars
When I go onto a track to run some practice laps, I start in the garage. I have to hit the ignition and start the car. I can do this for the GT cars and the Prototypes. But I cannot get the hypercars to start. Power comes on and I can turn stuff on and off, but it will not crack the engine to start it. The P1 cars and the GT cars start just fine so I know my controls are set up right. Is there something else that has to be done to get they hypercars to start?

Some cars will only run off the battery until you get it going. Hit the starter and put it in gear. You should start moving after giving it gas. At a certain speed, the engine will fire up.

Ahhh... yeah, that worked, but those cars are still terrible. The P2 cars handle way better, on the rare occasion I can do more than a few laps without the game CtD. The Hypercars are near impossible to drive. They spin out and swap ends with no warning. The GTE cars aren't bad, although the graphics look a bit dated compared to some other newer titles.

The tyres are very cold for the first few laps.

In real life, in Qatar race recently, a Hypercar came out of the pits with cold tyres and was being overtaken by a GTE through the corners. Really tricky.

With regards to the Hypers swapping ends, watch Michi Hoyers Video:

You may need to warmpup the tires for a few laps and bump up the FFB.

I crank the TC for the first few laps and dial it back as the tires warm up.
