water management is really vague
am I the only one that feels this way ?

was having a a great adventure on my lizard and after like 8 hours I nearly die from dehydration cause I went off to hang at some bear village, where for some reason there was no well.

I just ended up using the console command so I could move the extra tile on the world map to fill my waterskins. It's just so vague on the information screen while youre traveling, sometimes your character fills his waterskins by himself, sometimes not.

I guess i got overconfident traveling through river rich areas, but that was such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ way that my run would have ended unless I cheated. I dumped a bunch of valuable ♥♥♥♥ in a nearby village to kinda roleplay getting my ass saved by them.

My only real issue with water management is that the default action-queue doesn't include filling containers.
I've never had to cover myself in water, so I honestly have no idea why that's the default action after drinking water.
Sure I can right click and open the submenu and click fill container and then right click and open the submenu and click fill container N times until I fill up all my waterskins (I eventually just carry around a barrel), but it would be a lot more intuitive for new players and also just convenient if you could walk up to a well and click on it a bunch of times to solve all problems you have related to water.

Anyway Cryomancers can basically ignore this problem entirely at a high enough level since they can restore thirst when wet and have a spell to summon rain.
The wooden barrel negates basically all concerns about water management, unless you almost purposefully spend time wandering around a desert not visiting any towns. (or avoiding the oasis's that are often in desert tiles)
