Building a chopping block

I am currently playing a mage, and therefore don't put that much effort into leveling strength.
How am I supposed to build a chopping block in my settlement, when a log weighs 72 and my maximum carry weight is 56? I'm really not into leveling strength to 25 just so I can build a woodcutter.

Someone mentioned that you can drag a log into a stash but I cannot walk through stashes and thus the log is always laying beside the stash.

help...?

If you are dragging a log and interact with a stash, the log will be at the bottom the inventory list on your side to transfer over into it.

Haha, I've been playing this game like crazy the last few weeks, but never quite noticed the drag mechanic at all, so don't feel too dumb

How do you drag a log?

If I'm not misremembering, You need some level of athletics to unlock the skill to drag objects.

So start jumping down a cliff.

Disclaimer : this is not death threat, this is a legit way to train athletics skill in game

Drag is a level 1 athletics skill, so as the above user said just jump down a hill until you reach level 1 then you can start dragging.
