And...?
so the more in depth something becomes the more autistic it becomes? damn maybe autism is an upgrade after all.
You're doing it wrong if you're trying to dump money into the town to upgrade it lol. The whole point of the settlement is to generate money. After the first initial 10,000 the focus should be on building up your town so that it can generating enough resources to trade with.
It's also a slow process you're meant to play the game over decades and centuries. Death is just part of the gameplay loop. Next time you die fast forward 50 years and you'll be shocked to see your town has hundreds of thousands in gold.. provided you picked a spot with descent resources.
I also heard people referring to them as "stupid adderall games" which is both hilarious and wildly accurate
Most tech geniuses are on the spectrum, as are a lot of scientists

Basically the less casual the game ceiling, the more autistic.
CoD, basic shallow FPS. 0/10 tisms.
Minecraft, omnidirectional freedom, risk management, aesthetic perfection manager. 7/10 tisms.
Dwarf Fortress (New GUI) 8/10 tisms. 9/10 with old ascii.
See also D&D 5e = 4/10 tisms, Pathfinder 1e 9/10 tisms.
Putting aside that even the basic logic of this comment not making any sense. When I was a kid I went to a school for kids with all kinds of learning disabilities and the top games all anyone could talk about was Minecraft... and Call of Duty...
