I know what probably happened is that someone was pushy for a nonsense thing that they care way too much about because they obsess over it and make their life, and pushed that onto the dev. I know the dev politely declined, which caused the person to froth at the mouth and tell their discord and reddit friends all about it and blow it out of proportion.

I feel bad for the dev to be forced into the middle of this and I hope this blows over, it’s not fair he is getting abused nor is it fair he is suddenly some messiah against the woke against his will.

I did buy his game to support him on this, from what Ive see he doesn’t deserve the “punishment” by the loonies, hopefully it all dies down peacefully, im just glad the support is in his favour because it’s utterly unfair if it wasn’t (see the factorio nonsense).
