How can i level atlethics over 10?

you have to find a trainer in a town and pay them to increase your skill capacity in that skill. Just be aware you are only able to get a limited amount of skills so don't just pump every skill to max randomly.

Every skill has a skill cap. which can be expanded by paying trainers in towns or by finding skillbooks(which are rare to get)

That just seems lame as ♥♥♥♥. Just makes me not want to play the game.

You can disable skill caps entirely if you want. Change the maximum potential in the character json file (under modding/core 2) that will allow you to train more than 400 potential.

And use the [`] skill_p 50 core_2_<skill of choice> to get to increase the potential of all your classes to 50

That's cool, but I'd rather it be an in-game option that has thought behind it, instead of essentially using a cheat. Also while I'm whining, why tf do 90% of my villages fail to produce ANYTHING? I've spent hours travelling between them in order to find 1 guy selling a god forsaken knife, but no one is selling them, and no one is able to make them via orders. This game is driving me crazy, and the roadmap hasn't given me any hope that the game will eventually be good tbh. Feels like it'll be just another half-baked experience like the first game.
Like why tf is a "story" a priority on the roadmap?? The game heavily advertises itself as a sandbox. Why would a sandbox need a story with pre-made characters? Why even make a DF-esque world generator if you're just gonna write a story?

I ain't the dev, but it seems pretty likely the max skills is because you aren't meant to be good at everything, it's unrealistic, most people are good at a few things.
