How to host a co-op game for campaign

idk why but ive hosted a network game and one of my frineds joined but it wont start

Make sure you have the "Use Dedicated Server" box checked in the gather network dialog.
If your friend can see your game and its ping in the lobby, that means it's correctly setup and they will be able to join. Once they join, you should see their name appear at the top of the screen, you must then click on those to accept them in your game, you can also check the "Auto Gather" box to accept automatically anyone joining your game. You will see an image of Marathon guy for each player actually accepted in your game and as long as you are at least 2, the "Play" button will let you start the game.

Even if i have dedicated server turned on it still doesnt work
