If you haven't seen the movie "Sling Blade" (1996) starring Billy Bob Thornton, do yourself a favour. It's adapted from a play (also starring Billy Bob). I think he got an academy award for best actor, but might be wrong. Fantastic movie.

Anyway, one of my survivors managed to gut a looter and take their weapon, and it had that description "kaiser blade, some call it a sling blade", which I assume is a nod to the movie and gave me a great flash-back.
