How do you use the console commands?

I've seen mention of console commands, how to active the console itself, but despite that, I can't bring it up. Is there some trick to it in order to enable it or perhaps the posts I looked at are outdated?

More of a curiousity for me than a want to cheat, could be fun for playthroughs down the line though. Anyway, what am I doing wrong?

Man It's sad you want to cheat soo early in the game :c ....But since it's your game can blame you.

Well to open the console you need to press a specific bouton,but what bouton for you is behond me soo play a game call try every bouton and win a price.
After you figure who to open the console:

You can press some code:
additem(x,y) x: object y:quantity

and other but since I don't know all them...

Write AddSkillPoints(20)
Press enter

1 use of this command give you 20 skill points and 1 stat point. Helps with new playthroughts.

AddItem(202,99) - + 99 9mm bullets in your hero inventory

I know a little more cheats, but they too powerfull

yeah, cool, thats a given with using console commands - still reckon its up to the user to use them.

Thanks for this, I had 2 items disappear from my storage (2 hunting rifles) and couldnt make the cheat work! thank you!
