How do you use the medical satchel?

I tried dragging it, it has meds in it how do I use it on myself?

While in the game screen, rt click cursor until it turns into a bandage, move cursor to injured person, left click. You'll see the sprite animationand the actual healing text will appear in the lower left hand side.
