A few questions (minor spoilers)
Renee mentioned that she would like to have a flashlight and some coffee. What exactly game wants from me? I should give these items directly to her as a quest item, or I should stock it in the shelter inventory?

One of the tutorials in the game as well as the .pdf tutorial say that I should get back to the shelter before 3am. The other one (in the game too) says that I should get back before 18pm. Can someone tell what is the right time?

Renee wants whole coffee beans or batteries from you, you need to have them in the inventory of the main character and then talk to her. Then you can give it to her, it will give her a morale boost. You should be back 20:00 at the shelter (sunset), or you characters will suffer the fatigue affliction for the next day. Also the To-Hit-Chance will be greatly reduced after 20:00.

So, one manual says that I should get back to the shelter before 3 AM, the other one says that I should get back before 18 PM, and now you say that should get back before 20 PM. Are you sure about this?

Found a wiki page, and it says that I should get back to the shelter before midnight (00:00). http://deadstate.gamepedia.com/Base

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yup, 20:00 (8PM), just took a screenshot for you ->

Of course you can stay on your feet longer, 3 AM is true too (then you will get warped back to your shelter, suffering health and morale loss)

I see, thank you. Now it makes sense.

And about batteries and coffee. When I get back to the shelter they are automatically transferred into the shelter inventory as stock items. She need some kind of different batteries?

here are some basics on Shelter schedule man:

- morning starts at 8:00 (8am), this is where you have to give or update tasks to people on job board, especially for the jobs that take full day and must be selected at 8am (like cooking / custodian / maintenance)

- then you can either pass time in shelter using job board clock or move out to scavenge

- people stop working at 20:00 (8pm), making it a 12-hour working day. One thing to note, is that even if job says it takes 12hrs to complete, this is not always true because it does not show minutes on job board, and tooltip calculation there also bugged (I know, still bugged and "reanimated" crap but oh well), so if you want to get stuff done for the day, make it around 11 hours long

- if you are outside Shelter, the normal time to come home is before 20:00 (8pm) as well. If you are still outside:

1) After 8pm, your party (but not you) gets Tired status with penalties to accuracy etc - you can remove it by using energy drinks later on tired people, or letting them to pass a next day without getting tired (make sure they got one in inventory to use outside of Shelter, since you cannot use it on them while inside Shelter - also stupid, but oh well).
Also note, that after 20:00 all outside activities are considered to go in dark, and people have penalties in combat to hit etc, unless you use night vision equipment.

2) After 11pm (23:00), your char, the PC also get tired and needs an energy drink.

3) If you are still outside Shelter after midnight (0:00), you get the -50 morale penalty for this day "Though you abandoned us", basically they think you died or left them behind.

4) If you are not in Shelter until 3 am (3:00) the game is over, you die outside at night.

Odd, i'm not dying 3am, maybe this was in an earlier version? @Carnage: Well, just try it out yourself, not a big deal.

I already checked everything, and no, you don't die after 3:00. You just automatically get back to the shelter.

I'm concerned about other question right now.

How the hell I should give her batteries if they automatically became "stocked" after I get back to the shelter?

It's a special item named "rechargable batteries", the picture resembles three stacked green batteries, they are not stocked, you can find them in the unique category (if you scavenged some).

thats because a bit of a mix,
- there are simple batteries, a morale item thats auto stocked
- and there are "rechargable batteries", like 2 green batteries, that are also put into shelter inventory upon return, but you can take they out and go give them to Renee for bonus mood to her

Okay, thank you, I get it. Quest items are unique.
