Remind not to get infected anywhere near you
tough times my friend tough times, but it is important to eradicate the infected unless a cure is proven. to not endanger the community and try to survive as long as possible. and if we do survive and the infection stops. or dies out if we have a infected community member it could start all over again :P -i reloaded the save because i'm a softie and like vic he got infected-
Infected characters must have an antibiotic every day or they get sick and can't work. If they go for three days without antibiotics, they turn and must be put down. If they are killed in combat while out scavenging, they turn and get up as an undead the next round, and will attack whatever human is closest to them. I've had Well-Armored Undead Joel take down some Rogue Soldiers and save my bacon from beyond the grave before, but then he and his new friends tried to eat my face.
There is also a mood and morale penalty for having infected characters in the Shelter. Each infected character causes a -5 morale penalty, but the mood penalty is always 1 no matter how many infected people there are in the shelter.
