It depends on the situation, its like the Achievements for the Mass Effect games, i didn't really care about it, i just cheated to get the achievements, mostly for ME1 though, since the Achievements give you bonuses in future games, otherwise there is no point in cheating for the achievements.
That's subjective to each individual, I personally don't consider it to be cheating and as an achievement ♥♥♥♥♥ I like to know how to get them. Most games, including this one, have achievements that tell you exactly what you need to do. I do understand what you're saying though so I'll just edit the topic of the discussion :)
