HELP the game keeps multiplying on alt tab

For some reason when I alt tab a new tab of game dev tycoon opens, I can't close them. Even if I leave the game and they do not appear in task manager.

This is a known issue with this game. I have it as well. The windows don't disappear when you close the game so you need to restart your PC.

As far as I can tell the game isn't -actually- multiplying. Something about this game is just triggering this obscure bug in Windows. I've never seen any other program have this same bug. The bug has persisted across computers and windows installs for me.

No idea what's causing it. It's annoying.

Signing out and back in works too and is usually faster than a restart.

The game doesn't have other instances in the task manager, but there is a suspicious amount of nvidia containers in there. Might be worth looking into.
