Why is the Mobile version more complete than the PC version?
Well, I played the PC version years ago and I remember it being incredible at the time. I recently downloaded the Netflix version and WOW, it was so much better. Now you can make games based on films and series, have contracts for each one and even receive prizes for good grades with them! You could also now hire streamers to increase game visibility and sales, in addition to much more content.

So I thought, I'll buy the PC version again to see if it's as good as the Mobile version. And amazingly... No. There are no streamers, there are no publishing contracts, there are no film-based game contracts, there is nothing about the Mobile version.

I feel like the PC version was literally abandoned and that disappointed me. I still haven't decided whether to ask for a refund for the PC version and continue with just the Mobile version or whether, I don't know, I'm hoping they'll release a good update for the PC version.

I bought the original mobile version, and it that doesn't have all those either. It seems that this feature is a Netflix exclusive.

To clarify here, the PC and mobile releases of Game Dev Tycoon were developed separately, so this is why you see different content in each version.

The mobile version of Game Dev Tycoon differs from the PC release when it comes to the UI and there is some additional content exclusive to the Netflix version, but they are functionally the same game!

The Steam version is the most updated/full of content on PC. On mobile, the Netflix version is the newest and has some exclusive content, but the standard iOS and Android version are the most updated and completed versions of GDT on the go!

No plans at the moment as we're focusing our development efforts on our upcoming game, sorry about that!
