Complex Algorithms will target tech-oriented employees
Game Demo will target well-balanced employees
Showreel will target design-oriented employees
There is a great deal of RNG with this as well. There are different success strategies with tech-heavy, design-heavy and balanced teams. Tech-heavy is usually harder, and design-heavy is usually easiest, with completely balanced being the most flexible. But, keep in mind you will NEED "specialists" (heavy in one category or another) eventually.
I've found that I prefer to have two balanced team members first, then a pair of opposing specialists, then ANOTHER pair of opposing specialists. This keeps my overall team balanced while giving me heavy-hitters for later games.
