Whats the best way to have all 10's in a game review? Do bad games in the beginning and then make a good game? I know the score is based against your previous games so if you make good games it gets harder to have good scores.

When you have enough money (50M) do a remake of an old game with a very good engine, this ist the best way to get good scores

It's really hard for me to get all 10's, I've got 3 10's and a 9 with a small marketing campaign, making a casual racing game while casual was trending with an expensive decked out engine right as soon as the "PS2" is released, the system hype went wild and got a medium booth for E3, game was a smash hit... but 1 point short of straight 10's =/

Another trick is right before you move into your first office. Right before you upgrade into your first office, the game gives you a higher opurtunity to get a higher score to help you pay for your first office. During this time would probably be the best way to get 10/10 very early into a new game.

Train your staff after every game release with veteren staff (5games plus) if for example you release a Music game on gameboy talored for the kids you are going to get a good review I've had the 10.10.10.11 a few times like that

The best way for all 10s is to have your bars set to the right levels for the best of each game. I use max in the +++, 1/2 to 2/3 bar in the ++ and minimum in the --- slot. Also I deactivate most contrary settings (eg. surround sound when sound is --- slot) which also saves you money.

You will also have to have the right genres in combination with the right system for that genre. Mixed genres each have their own separate needs than the parts they come from, so that's more research.

Your engine should also be up to date, although I would argue not to go crazy developing graphics. I once had PS5/XBone era graphics in N64 pre Playstation era. Development costs were crazy, and the graphics hogged my systems. I bombed.

On top of that, you want the right age audience for both the genre and the system being developed.

Having more productive employees (and self) also seems to help.

That is very rudimentary information...
