GDT: Game Not Working, Suspect because of Mods

Can any one please help!
I really enjoy Game Dev Tycoon and just installed 2 workshop mods, I had installed other mods from the internet, those worked fine, but the workshop ones have been making an error, I uninstalled all the mods, and I still get the same error message! The error message is below:


"Error Alert
Error Could not initialize loaded game: TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of null If the issue persists please report this error to [e-mail]

Enabled Mods:

No mods activated.
Game Version: 1.5.7

Platform: Windows

Distribution: Steam"

Can anybody help?

This is something related to the save game states. You might want to start a new game, instead of loading and/or continuing an existing one when switching mods.

If you still have problems, you might want to remove / disable all of your previous save games:

On Windows 8 and Under:
C:/Users/YOURUSER/Appdata/Local/Game Dev Tycoon/Local Storage/
(Where YOURUSER is your Windows user name)

To View the App Data folder please allow viewing of Hidden Files and Folders;
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows7/show-hidden-files

On Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/{app}/Local Storage

On Linux
~/.config/Game Dev Tycoon
(might be slightly different)

Where {User} is your username.

Rename / Remove the Local Storage folder - or -
Each save slot has a corresponding file that you might want to rename / remove (So slot 1 would be file 1 for example).
