online play vs multiplayer
Please help, whats the difference between online play and multiplayer. Is multiplayer just like coop? Then online play is actually online?

so multiplayer is local multiplayer. It can either be something like co-op (like Wii Sports or those games from 2000 that you used to have fun with because they had split screen so you could play with friends) or something like LAN (basically be able to play minecraft and join someone else's world just because you are both connected to the same internet)
