Half Sword

Half Sword

Starting first Boss fight without a weapon
Just saying I really don't like that. Especially since sometimes that long legged Giant with a proper reaching weapon is on you relentlessly.
I like the fight itself but having this as the first bossfight seems weird.

Especially since the fights before don't even prepare you for the fight.
It really isn't worth it for the storytelling of the beggar climbing up the ladder, now that iI'm thinking about it.

Actually the more I play it the more I think the first level is kind of suboptimal.
Playing these fist fights is rather boring and then you do that and a carnage to again reroll if you get a weapon or armor and a chair for the first boss.

I dunno :D

what i do is simply play one "do you know how to get to the london train station" knife battle and one fist fight.

Then go to the boss, grab a two handed weapon and block his attack and then spam your attacks until his arm is broken. Works 9/10 times

Most of the time there's no 2H weapon available.

I feel like it's kind of random who , if anyone, comes up ontop when you go into close combat. Sometimes a step over a leg is reason for my guy to be utterly challenged.
That's why I'd rather keep my distance.
Especially when the kicking begins it feels like all hands are off lets watch who stumbles who doesnt.

It gets much easier to stay alive after the first 3 bosses.

Also dual buckler, dual stool, and dual candelabra is underrated. Just rapidly swinging dual stools back and forth will make it very difficult for the boss (or anyone) to hit you.

I can imagine dual stool...although how often you get 2 of em I dunno and kinda doubt its that often :p
